- SHERLOCK HOLMES 2 Official Trailer and Writer on Board for 3rd outing.
The Warner Bros. sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadowsdoesn't hit theaters for almost two more months, but The Hollywood Reporterbrings word that work has already started on a third adventure. Warner Bros.has hired Drew Pearce to tackle the script.
Pearce, best known for his writing and producing work on theBritish superhero comedy series "No Heroics," is also providing thescript for Iron Man 3, to be directed by Shane Black and also starring Downey.His being brought aboard Holmes likely speaks very well of the actor's thoughtson the current draft of that Marvel Universe project.
No other talent is currently attached to a third SherlockHolmes, though it is an almost certainty that Downey and Jude Law will returnas Holmes and Dr. Watson.
