Javier Bardem new Bond Villian

Previously having been reported as in talks, Javier Bardemconfirmed to ABC Nightline that he will play a villain in Bond 23.

"I am very excited, my parents took me to watch themovies, and I saw all of them, so to play that is going to be fun," hesaid about the James Bond film. "They chose me to play this man, but Icannot give you many details."

To be directed by Sam Mendes, filming is set to start soonfor a November 9, 2012 release.
