Tower Heist star and upcoming Oscar host talked to RollingStone magazine about the "Beverly Hills Cop" franchise and revealedthat a fourth movie is not happening, but a TV series might.

"They're not doing it," he said about a BeverlyHills Cop IV. "What I'm trying to do now is produce a TV show starringAxel Foley's son, and Axel is the chief of police now in Detroit. I'd do thepilot, show up here and there."

He explained further why another movie didn't work out."None of the movie scripts were right; it was trying to force the premise.If you have to force something, you shouldn't be doing it. It was always arehash of the old thing. It was always wrong."
