Top Cow's upcoming graphic novel In the Dust will be adaptedto the big screen by Stephen L'Heureux's Solipsist Films. The 1930s DustBowl-set book, which doesn't come out until next year, involves a G-Man whounearths an army of vampires.

Heat Vision reports that one of the comic's creators, GeorgeMahaffey, will script the film (Christian Duce is the other creator). L'Heureuxwill produce with Top Cow's Matt Hawkins and Marc Silvestri executiveproducing.


Here's the full synopsis from HV: "The story is setagainst the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, when 'black blizzards' obscured the Midwestand prairies. The plot sees a G-Man investigating the disappearances of entirefamilies from small towns during these storms, uncovering the existence of anarmy of vampires that are using them as cover to ravage the countryside. Theagent is forced to team up with remnants of Al Capone's gang to save Chicagowhen the vampires turn their attention to the Windy City."
