Harmony Korine's next project, Spring Breakers, is gainingsteam as Variety reports that James Franco is now attached and that EmmaRoberts is in talks to star.

Written and directed by Korine, Spring Breakers has fourcollege girls robbing a fast food restaurant to fund their spring break. Whenthey arrive at their Florida destination, however, they are immediatelyarrested.

Franco will play Alien, described as "a rapping drugand arms dealer". Roberts would play Candy, one of the four girls.

Franco recently appeared in Rise of the Planet of the Apesand is currently shooting Oz the Great and Powerful. Roberts just appeared inScream 4 and will soon star in Celeste and Jesse Forever.

Korine is still best known for his feature debut, Gummo.His most recent, Trash Humpers, was released in 2009.

UPDATE: Variety now reports that Selena Gomez and VanessaHudgens are in talks to appear as two of the other girls in the group.
