The studio behind the Harry Potter and Batman franchises isbanking on Lego being their next big movie tentpole.

Variety reports that Warner Bros. has greenlit a hybridlive-action/animated feature film based on the building blocks.

Australian-based firm Animal Logic (Happy Feet, Legend ofthe Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole) will handle the animation for the film,which the trade says will be 80% animation and is slated for a 2014 release.

"Plot details for Lego -- an action-adventure set inthe Lego world -- remain under wraps," according to Variety. "Castingfor the live-action characters is set to begin in January."

More details are expected to be released at a pressconference in Australia next week.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs' Phil Lord and ChristopherMiller will write and direct the Lego movie, with Robot Chicken's Chris McKayco-directing.

Our only question is, when will the Lego Lego Movie: Gamecome out??? LoL some of you might get that...
