Joss Whedon on Set of Avengers with Scarlett Johannson (Black Widow)

Joss Whedon has been very busy of light, even if it has beensecretly. After wrapping on The Avengers and secretly shooting Much Ado AboutNothing with Nathan Fillion, the director has now revealed his followup film,In Your Eyes, which will be produced by Whedon's new production companyBellwether Pictures.

According to Deadline, the film is a metaphysical romanceabout two polar opposites who are in fact deeply connected in ways they couldnot have imagined. Whedon wrote the screenplay and Brin Hill will be directing.

"When I wrote In Your Eyes, I didn't have thewherewithal (or the moxie) to make it without an established productionhouse," Whedon said in a statement. "I believe, as I did then, thatit's a pretty timeless romance, and now, with the creation of BellwetherPictures (and Brin Hill's elegant, passionate take on the piece), I have theopportunity to prove it. (I also have a 37% increase in moxie.) I love thisteam and I can't wait to see them bring In Your Eyes to life."

Kai Cole will be producing the film with Night & DayPictures' Michael Roiff. Whedon will be executive producing with DavidRothenberg as co-producer. In Your Eyes is fully financed and scheduled tobegin production in February.
