Brendan Fraser (The Mummy, Journey to the Center of theEarth) and director Eric Brevig (Journey to the Center of the Earth, Yogi Bear)are reuniting for the untold story of the legend that is William Tell - noblefarmer, quick-witted family man, cunning hero, scruffy outlaw - in 3D.

In an age of oppression and tyranny, Tell (Fraser) is forcedto rise up against those who threaten his lands and family. The governor ofSwitzerland lies dying, and Austrian Hermann Gessler is waiting to take hisplace. Try as he might, Tell cannot keep himself out of the conflict thatensues, and soon finds his own wife and children embroiled in it. Refusing tobow to a tyrant, he is forced to shoot an apple off the head of his own son -and then he swears revenge. It is the inspiration of a nation, and the stuff oflegend.
