- JUDGE DREDD REMAINS FACELESS!!
It's been said before, but Karl Urban has reassured fans ofJudge Dredd, speaking about how important it is for the character that thehelmet remains on for the duration of the movie.

Speaking to Total Film, Urban said, "If anyone iffamiliar with Dredd, over the years there are many times when he removes hishelmet but you never fully see his face. This was a construct by the creatorsbecause he represents a faceless system of justice and law."
He also went on to describe how he'd react as a fan:
"I say this hypothetically. If I went to a movie calledJudge Dredd and the lead actor at one point took of his helmet so we could seehis full face I would just puke in my popcorn because that's not Dredd. He ismysterious and enigmatic. We're doing it right, it's gonna be harder, grittierand above all faithful to the comic. It's gonna kick ass."
Judge Dredd is scheduled for release on September 21, 2012.
