The New York Comic Con has posted its panel line-up whichreveals that Marvel Studios will be debuting new footage from Marvel's TheAvengers on Saturday, October 15 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the IGN Theater:

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in"Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2,""Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger," in"Marvel's The Avengers" the world's greatest Super Heroes mustassemble to pull the world back from the brink of disaster when an unexpectedenemy threatens global security. This special presentation will featurenever-before-seen footage and appearances by special surprise guests.

Marvel has yet to release actual footage on the Internet.Sadness!!!

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengersstars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, ScarlettJohansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L.Jackson. It opens in theaters on May 4, 2012.
