Liam Hemsworth is the latest name to join the cast of TheExpendables 2, Variety reports. There's no word on his role quite yet, but hemarks a surprisingly youthful addition to the cast of seasoned action stars,already slated to include Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, ArnoldSchwarzenegger, Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Co-written and directed by Stallone, the originalExpendables also starred Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts,Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Giselle Itie, Charisma Carpenter,Gary Daniels, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke.  But it still hasn’t been confirmed who of theoriginal team will be returning to the film. We do know that Chuck Norris willbe amking a cameo appearance and that Nicolas Cage and John Travolta are intalks to join this testotstreone filled film. We think Michelle Rodriguezshould also be included!! 

Hemsworth is set to appear early next year in The HungerGames and will play a leading role in the upcoming AWOL as well.

The Expendables 2 will begin filming next month in Bulgariaand is planning an August 17, 2012 release.
