RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION (Milla Tweets Updates))

Resident Evil film star Milla Jovovich was very busy onTwitter on Saturday, as the star revealed lots of information on Resident Evil:Retribution 3D, including the news that some long-desired fan favoritecharacters from the game franchise have finally made it into the film series.

Jovovich's SPOILERISH tweets revealed that the fifth RE filmwill not include previously introduced characters Claire and Chris Redfield orK-Mart as they have now been captured by the Umbrella Corp. so it's up toAlice, Ada Wong, Leon S. Kennedy and Barry Burton to go rescue them. None ofthese new roles have been cast yet, but Jovovich said that Jensen Ackles, whohad been rumored to play Leon in the fourth film, would be unavailable due tohis TV commitments.

Also, Shawn Roberts will reprise his role as the evil AlbertWesker, who evidently was tougher to kill than the last film would have youbelieve. Milla added that the Las Plagas parasite would also be part of thestoryline.

Jovovich also hyped up the action scenes set to be shot forthe film, including a major one in Moscow's Red Square and another involving aRolls-Royce getting shot up. She also said she has a big fight scene with JillValentine (Sienna Guillory).

In related news, actor Boris Kodjoe confirmed that he willbe back as former pro-athlete Luther West, who was introduced in last year'sResident Evil: Afterlife as a potential love interest for Milla's Alice. RE5begins filming October 16.
