Iron Man 3 is reportedly trading in Southern California forNorth Carolina.

According to a secret Marvel source for Latino Review,"it's 90% likely that Iron Man's next Avenger-less outing will be shot inthe Port City of Wilmington, North Carolina. It's said to be a massive affairwith Marvel taking over 10 sound stages at Screen Gems studios. Sets are likelybeing built now as production crews have been spotted over the past week. Oncethe sets are completed this upcoming May, shooting will commence untilJune."

As the site reminds us, Wilmington was a thriving filminglocation back in the '80s and '90s, where it was home to The Crow, TeenageMutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros. and Dawson's Creek. It most recentlyhosted The Hunger Games and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
