Don Cheadle and Bruce Greenwood have joined the cast ofRobert Zemeckis' Flight, Moviehole reports.

Zemeckis' first live-action film since 2000's Cast Away,Flight stars Denzel Washington as “Whip”, a commercial airline pilot who pullsoff a heroic feat of flying in a damaged plane, saving 98 lives on a flightcarrying 106 people. While the world begs to embrace him as a true AmericanHero, the everyman struggles with this label as he is forced to hold up to thescrutiny of an investigation that brings into question his behavior the nightbefore the doomed flight.

Written by John Gatins (Dreamer, Real Steel), the film isset to begin shooting next month in Atlanta, Georgia. Kelly Reilly is alsoattached as the female lead.

Cheadle appears in the now-playing The Guard and is expectedto reprise his role as James Rhodes in the upcoming Iron Man 3. Greenwood,meanwhile, appeared recently in Barney's Version, Meek's Cutoff and in a surprisemotion-capture cameo role in J.J. Abram's Super 8. He'll likely reteam withAbrams for the upcoming untitled Star Trek sequel.
