Warner Bros. and Dc comics are finally taking notice to the way Marvel have been building there Avenger movie by developing each characters movie before joining forces in thee Avengers.

Now we know, that in the past DC has said that they will not do Justice League just because, Marvel is doing it.

And in 2008 DC was actually quite close to making a Justice League film with young Actors and Actresses… Actually casting was already done and dusted but the movie was shelfed after the Screen Writers Guild strike.

Finally now DC is moving in the direction, with Jeff Robinov, president of the Warner Bros., sat down with the Los Angeles Times and revealed that WB wants a Justice League movie to hit theatres by 2013.

The long-in-development Justice League movie is a priotity for the studio, with a new script currently in development. George Miller was set to direct a JL movie in 2008, but that project stalled due to several factors, one being studio's concerns over "presenting a competing (and conflicting) version of Batman while director Christopher Nolan's films were breaking box office records."

So after Nolan's departure from the series after Dark Knight Rises presents a challenge that Robinov has a plan for. "We have the third Batman, but then we'll have to reinvent Batman," Robinov said.

"Chris Nolan and [producing partner and wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is."

The studio is also reviving Flash and Wonder Woman projects, with the intention of spinning them off after the Justice League film.

So the JLA will hit theatres in 2013.

But, we learned that Batman will not be the only DC Charatcer that will have to be reinvented for JLA.

Director Zack Snyder has  pointed  out that his new Superman: Man of Steel Rebbot film will not be tied to the past films as well as Tv series, but he reveals now that his vision of Superman will not be part of the Justice League Film. In Essence, a new version of Superman will have to be created for JLA just as Batman has to be reinvented.

Speaking with Hey U Guys at the U.K. premiere of Sucker Punch, Snyder was asked whether the recently revived Justice League of America movie would take place within the same universe as his Superman film.

"It doesn't. Like what Chris Nolan is doing [with Batman] and what I'm doing with Superman, what they'll do with Justice League will be it's own thing with it's own Batman and own Superman," said Snyder. "We'll be over here with our movie and they'll kinda get to do it twice which is kinda cool."


UPDATE: So we were looking at this whole JUSTICE LEAGUE film thing and we thinking... WE DO NOT WANT A JUSTICE LEAGUE FILM!!!! Now we know some of you might think we crazy for saying that, but we do have our reasons!!!
