RelativityMedia and The Weinstein Company have reached an out of court settlementregarding the lawsuit surrounding the planned remake of 1994's The Crow.

Varietyrelays the joint statement from the two companies: "The parties willcontinue to work on the film together as planned. In addition, Relativity Mediahas dismissed all of its claims against The Weinstein Company for anywrongdoing regarding the release and distribution of Nine, and The WeinsteinCompany has dismissed all of its claims against Relativity Media."

The WeinsteinCompany had filed in injunction last spring regarding Relativity's remake ofthe original film and specifically the distribution rights to the project.Relativity followed with a claim that TWC "intentionally masked itsfinancial problems in order to induce Relativity to finance [the] musicalNine."

So now TheCrow can go ahead, with 28 Weeks Later's director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo currentlyonboard.
