With the project switching studios from Paramount Picturesto 20th Century Fox, The Hollywood Reporter has word that Helen Mirren islikely joining the cast of Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho,Montecito's adaptation of the Stephen Rebello non-fiction book.

Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) will direct thefilm, which tells the true tale of Hitchcock's attempts to finance hisnow-classic 1960 horror film. Adapted by John McLaughlin, who co-wrote BlackSwan, the story is centered on the relationship between Hitchcock and his wifeAlma Reville. Anthony Hopkins became attached to the Hitchcock role lastJanuary and Mirren is expected to play Alma.
