Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox andImagine Entertainment are eyeing a spring 2012 start for the 24 movie starringKiefer Sutherland.

The Wolverine screenwriter Mark Bomback isexpected to turn in the latest draft of the script by year's end, says thesite.

Billy Ray wrote the first draft, which tookJack Bauer to Europe.

Imagine and the studio have five directorsin mind and everything is expected to be put into place early next year.Sutherland will be available to start shooting in April.
