• WINONA RYDER FINDS HERSELF WITH THE ICEMAN

Winona Ryder is the latest name to join the cast of the trueserial killer tale, The Iceman. Deadline reports that she'll star oppositeMichael Shannon and Chris Evans.

Ariel Vromen (Danika, Rx) is directing from a screenplay heco-wrote with Morgan Land (Rx), based on the book "The Iceman: The TrueStory of a Cold-Blooded Killer" by Anthony Bruno and on interview footagefrom the documentary "The Iceman Tapes: Conversations with a Killer"by Jim Thebaut. The film is officially described as follows:

"The Iceman" is the electrifying true story ofRichard Kuklinski (Shannon), a notorious mob contract killer and loving familyman. He earned his nickname by freezing the bodies of his victims, disguisingthe time of death, and throwing police off-track. He was a man who used histendencies toward violence and detachment from consequence to create an idyllicfamily life. His family and neighbors believed he was an average businessman,having no idea about his deadly alternate life. Kuklinski killed over onehundred people during his life. He never felt remorse for anything he had done,except hurting his family.

Ryder will play Kuklinski's wife. She appeared earlier thisyear in The Dilemma and will soon re-team with director Tim Burton, providing avoice in his stop-motion feature, Frankenweenie.
